Also Sara's baptism date will be changed. Pastor called this morning and said he can no longer do it on the 17th. Will be sending out invites in a few days. We still have to decide on a new date. Sara has a cold. I feel so bad for her. She cant breathe and keeps coughing and sneezing. poor thing. Tomorrow morning is Joshua's appt with the peditric surgeon at childrens. They think he has a hernia. So I will update tomorrow.

17 hours to go!

Ok. I see dr scharff at 2:45 today. Ill update if he says anything important. But at 6am tomorrow morning I will be induced. I will post a pic on here when I have her. you can check back perodically.

Today's Apt

I had to see the cardiologist this morning. I am now not allowed to drive anymore. I am having more passing out issues. So, Im restricted even more. Then I had to go to Dr Scharff's. He is scheduling me for induction next wednesday. 9-9-09. He was going to do tuesday, but he is too booked up in surgery. He told me if he sees anythingn funky going on with my heart or anything out of the norm, then he will not wait it out to see how it goes, he will rush me directly to do a c section. I go back to see him next tuesday then 6am i will have to be at the hospital on wed. Dont want anyone there this time. There were just to many people there with Joshua. We will call or email and let everyone know when we want visitors.

another eventful day.

This morning we went to Lilly's house to play. Then we had my appt with Dr Scharff. My blood pressure was up so he sent me to the hospital. They monitored it for a few hours. and had an ultrasound. I have to do a 24 hour urine test to check for preeclampsia. I am contracting every 2-4 min. uhh. Ill update when I get any results.

Today was an eventful day...

First thing this morning I had physical therapy. Then we went directly to Joshua's dr appt. He has been saying his ear hurts the past few days, then last night he started with the runny nose, coughing and sneezing and a small rash. Seems to be just a virus. No ear infection. Then I had my high risk ob appt. My blood pressure is running a bit high, and at my ultrasound they said the fluid level around her is high. Dr didnt have any coments about either. useless man. anyways they measured her and she is SUPPOSED to be 5 lbs 4 oz at 35 weeks but she is measuring 6 lbs 12 oz. I plan on asking Dr Scharff tomorrow at my appt about the bp and fluid. Ill have some more answers and hopefully an induction date. Should be within the next 2 weeks. oh yea, couldnt get a picture. no good angles. :-(

Yesterday

Yesterday I had my weekly appt with dr scharff. He didn't say much. Then I went over to l&d for my normal tests. I was having contractions. I had about 10 in an hour plus several smaller contractions that "too short" to call contractions. (they must be at least 40 sec. long.) I am now 1cm dialated. So I go back on saturday for more testing like always. So we will see then. Ill try to update more when I know it.

Dr appt today

I had my high risk dr appt today. He thinks I should have her 37-38 weeks. So tomorrow I will talk to dr scharff and see if we can schedule something and if it will be induction or c section. Hopefully they will do it at 37 weeks which will be the week of Sept. 7th. She did not want her face to be seen today, but you can see the pictures (4 of them) here

What a day.....

Well, I had my cardiologist appt this morning. Since my pulse was elevated at rest still, and im passing out quite a bit lately, She is now putting me on bed rest. Not really sure how this is going to do this with Joshua, but we will see. Then I headed to lunch with the play pal group girls. We had no kids and had a little baby shower. It was a great lunch. It was nice to be able to sit down and eat in peace. These ladies are great!! I see Dr. Scharff on wednesday. We will see what he says. Hopefully we can talk about letting me have her early. 31 weeks 2 days

Today I had my appt with Dr Amon, NST, BPP, and my weight ultrasound. She weighs 4 pounds 4 ounces. (a week big) and she is now head down. That has changed since yesterday. He didnt say much about my horable headaches. just sorry. well sorry doesnt help. I see Scharff next week and Dr amon is all booked up the week after so Ihave to see a different dr. Here is the pic I got. Every time she tried to look at her face she would put her hand over her face. little stinker. so we got what we got.

Just got home from the circus!!

The circus was in Alton. We of course went with our friend and our papa goebel. Joshua and daddy got to ride an elephant (our FAVORITE animal, a camel, and a pony.) Here is a link to the pictures. It is on the very bottom the folder named circus. Circus Pictures

uhhh 4 1/2 hours in L&D

Today I a dr appt with dr scharff. Everything was fine there. Then I had to go over to anderson to do my non stress test and my biophysical profile. I passed my nst then I had to do my bpp. (they check for certain amount of movement, amniotic fluid, and breathing) well she failed the breathing portion. She has always passed. So they hooked me back up to the monitors and I had to wait until dr scharff said I could go. So after 4 1/2 hours I was free to go. fun!!

I have been buying things we need since the begining, so we don't need much. But people have been asking what we still need so I have a registry. Ok correction.. We could use 2-3 long sleve shirts or onises for 3-6 months. Also we don't have as many 6-9 things as I thought. We have 7 dresses and 3 shirts. We have plenty of pants but could use a skirt or 2 and a few shorts. We dont have anything for 9-12 months. We will need shoes of all sizes. I have some.

Today's appts

Had my echo this morning, things are still the same so that is good. I then saw the high risk dr he thinks since my echo hasnt changed that so far I can deliver at anderson and naturally. That can change.

Busy Day

Me and Joshua left this morning at 8:15 for physical therapy, then to play group. After lunch we had to go to dr Scharff. With the new heart problems I am to high risk now so he pretty much is just seeing me so I have a dr close if I need it. He sent me to l&d since I have decresed movements. I was hooked up for an hour and a half to the non stress machine. I had 10 contractions in that time. 4 of them they actually recorded!! They never recorded them with joshua. The nurse checked me and said since I wasnt dialating that I could go home. Said if I have 5 or more contractions, leaking, etc to call or come in. Well on the 30 min drive home I had 4 more. hmmm. I have another nst on sunday and then on wednesday I have a nst and Bpp (ultrasound that checks movements and breathing)We didnt get home until about 5:15....

Today's high risk appt.

Apparently they only make the dr's schedules during the month they are in. SO, when I made my appt 2 weeks ago they just scheduled me in. My dr wasnt there today.. so I had to see a different dr that I have never seen and who knows nothing about me or my problems. I told him about my contractions I have been having again and about her not moving very much so he checked me and Im not dialating yet. Then he sent me to ultrasound to check for movement and to watch her "breathing" She passed the test, then I had to do a Non Stress Test. She kept moving off the montior. She hated it. I am also susposed to start doing kick counts. So, now I have to wait until NEXT wednesday to see my dr. I had a list of problems to discuss with him. I will see my regular ob tomorrow afternoon so maybe he can help out. Tomorrow I will get my weekly schedule for my nsts and ultrasounds. yay i will at least know how crazy im going to be. Cardiologist appt

Today I saw Dr. Singh (cardiologist) since thursday or so I have been having alot of pressure in my chest and even when im laying down doing nothing my heart is racing. She doesn't have any explination on why it is happening. She sent me for a thyriod test and I have my pulmonary function test in a few weeks and I have my echo on monday. Depending on what all the tests say monday she is thinking about admiting me in the hospital and putting me on heart medicine. The only think you can take during pregnancy Im allergic to, but she is going to try to give me a different form of the same medicine. That way being in the hospital if anything happens, I am in a hospital. So on monday I will know a little more.... Later today I have an apt with physical therapy and the chiropracter. Then tomorrow I have an appt with dr amon (high risk dr) and on wednesday I have an appt with dr scharff (regular ob) I plan on talking to them about my heart too, so we will see. Ill update tomorrow.

Almost in the 3rd trimester.

Last week I saw Dr. Scharff (regular ob) He is concerned with my heart function. Since this is my second child, it puts more stress on my heart so he is concerned with how I will do having a natural birth. I am worried about her size. I am currently doing my physical therapy 3x a week. Not fun!! Love my physical therapist. She is due a week before I am. She is so nice. Saturday (july 4th) will be 28 weeks which is the start of the 3rd trimester. I have a high risk apt on tuesday and a regular ob appt on wednesday. Ill update you then. 25 weeks

Had my 25 week appt with the high risk dr today. I have to get 2nd diabetes test. This time I have to go straight to the 3 hour again. uhhh I have to start my weekly 2 non stress tests, ultrasounds, and dr appts at 30 weeks. I have pubic symphisis disfunction. Where your hips seperate to much. My right hip is completely out of place. I have to start physical therapy this week and I have a chiropracter appt to work on it too. I had an ultrasound, she weighs 1 pound 13 oz, right on track, but im measuring 30 weeks I think she is bigger. They told me Joshua was 7.5pounds a few days before birth and he was 9 lbs 5oz. She is also now breach. at 25 weeks with Joshua he was head down. we will see.
In other news, saturday Joshua turned 2!!! We had a birthday party/surprise 25th anniversary party for my parents. We also got Joshua a piano. He loves it!!!

22 weeks dr appt

So I am now over my pneumonia!!!! AAAYYYY!!!! Feels so good to be able to breathe again!! haha anyways I saw the high risk dr today. He said so far all the contractions im having aren't dialating me yet. With Joshua I started at 32 weeks. Im measuring 25 weeks, but it may even itself out. hopefully. I hope since she is a girl, she will be smaller than her brother!! hoss. On Monday June 15th I will have another ultrasound and high risk appt. I also have a regular ob appt I believe next week and a cardiologis appt on June 6th. I was looking at my belly pictures when I was pregnant with joshua, man was I huge!! but im bigger with her.
20 weeks with Joshua

I think im dying

Well, first off I wanted to wish everyone a happy mother's day. As my mother's day night progressed It got harder and harder for me to breathe. I could stop coughing and I had sharp pain every time I took a breath. Of course being as stubborn as I am I waited until morning and went to the ER. Turns out I have Pnuemonia. FUN!! Then later that day I finally went and got my antibiotic filled and Joshua decited he wanted to crawl out of his car seat by himself. (which he normally does) and fell and busted his lip open on the bottom of the car door. I cought him before he hit the pavement but It bled pretty bad for a few minutes. Ever since then he keeps playing with his lip. Guess it doesn't hurt. Ill post a pic later.

Almost half way there!!!

Today I am 19 weeks 2 days, but I had my 20 week ultrasound today. She is still a girl!! She weighed 11oz and is measuring right on target.

Sara Beth

Well some of you know we have decited to name her Sara Beth. Pretty much naming her after my brother. HAHA ill explain later. anyways. We got her bedding last night. I have been eyeing it for months. It's a GIRL!!!

YAY! we found out this evening that we are having a girl. My scanner isnt working at the moment, so I cant get good pictures right now. My mom got some video. She isnt a very good camera person!haha. Gender Ultrasound!!!!

Tomorrow at 5 pm is my gender ultrasound. Everyone cross your fingers for a cooperative baby!!! Please check back around 6 or 7 tomorrow night. But of course Ill send an email too!!

12 week 3 day ultrasound

Today I had my ultrasound. The baby was being very stubborn and lazy!!! Runs in the family haha! She needed the baby to move but if it did move it would just roll over to the other wrong view!! I have to go back in 4 weeks to get the rest of the scan done. Here are the pictures I got. And pictures of Joshua after I picked him up from Grandpa Seymore babysitting. WOW!

11 week appt

We are all starting to get over our colds and Joshua is getting over his croup. Poor guy. Yesterday I had my ob appt. Everything seems ok and we heard the heartbeat on the dopler. I have my ultrasound on the 17th. Ill update then.

Toddler Bed

We got Joshua's toddler bed today. He loves it!!!

High Risk OB appt

Just got home from spending 3 hours at the high risk ob. WHEW!!! I first got another ultrasound. Baby looks good. Heartbeat was 176. Then I finally got to see the dr. Spent an hour going over all my health problems. He was tired of writing when we were done. He couldnt believe how many health problems I have for being so young. He then said he wanted me to do an ultrasound on the 17th to look for any defects or problems, and to look at the anatomy of the baby. I also have to meet with a neutritionist at the same time. He doesn't want me to gain any weight because it will put more pressure and stress on my heart. He also ordered some blood work to check for inflamation and fluid on my hear, and some other things. He also gave me orders for future echos and ultrasounds and gave me signs to look for to indicate something more with my heart. He also said depending on how things go, I will probley be put on bed rest. uhh.... how do I do that with a toddler???? well.... Think that is it for now.

8 weeks 6 days

Long over due update

Well. I have been busy. Haven't had much time to update. The day after my cardiologist appt I had my ob appt. He is sending me to the high risk ob. My appt is Friday the 20th. I will get another ultrasound then see him. It is at St. Lukes. With Joshua, I went to St. Marys. Glad Im seeing a different dr. Didnt like the last one too much. I got my echo results. So far everything looks good. Now im waiting on the heart monitor and the blood work resuts. Oh and the BIGGEST news of all, my baby brother got married on Valentines day!! Of course being pregnant with all the hormones I was a big tear bag. I don't think I stopped crying. But I will say the wedding and Whitney were beautiful. I have never seen Jeffery so happy in my life. I am so proud of him, and now I have the sister I always wanted!!! (sorry jeff) there goes the tears again. haha!!

Cardiologist Appt

Had my cardiologist appt today. She wants me to come back later today to get my echo cardio gram, a 24 hour heart monitor. Then she also wants me to get a pulmonary function test, and some blood work. Let ya all know later what it all says.

6 week 5 Day Ultrasound

I had my second ultrasound today. It is measuring normal for how old it is. I could see it's heart beating and she said everything looks good! I have my cardiologist appt on tuesday. My heart problems are already acting up, then I have another ob appt on wednesday. The picture is from my cell phone so it is not very good, but if you click on it, you can see it bigger. OH YEA! I forgot to mention for the past 2 days Joshua has been sleeping in the toddler bed! He is doing great! He hasn't gotten out of it either!!!

First Ultrasound

I had my first ultrasound today. It is to early to tell anything. She thinks there is only 1, but will not be sure until next week. My next ultrasound is Thursday the 5th at 8:45am. Here is the picture!!! The dot in the center of the black circle is the baby.

Today's Dr Appt

Today I had my first Dr. Appt. He confirmed I am pg and said Im in for a crazy ride this time again. I am going to have alot of monitoring of my heart and the baby. I go for my ultrasound thursday morning to check for multiples and to check to make sure everything is ok since I keep having so much cramping. Ill post more thursday

Were Having a Baby!!!

Well for Joshua it took 23 months and several cycles of failed clomid. This time we started trying when Joshua was born. (June 2007) In October 2008 I went the the RE (reproductive endocrinologist) and he did some tests and scheduled me for laproscopic surgery. SO, November 19th I had my surgery. He drained the cysts in my ovaries and removed a large cyst that was blocking one of my tubes. December I was started on clomid. I didn't expect much knowing how I was with it the first time. I had a u/s on day 11 of my cycle and I had 8 good follicles (what the eggs "hatch" out of) About 2-8 days after ovulation I had every symptom in the book. I absolutely swore I was pg. I just knew it. Then all of a sudden all the symptoms went away. I took tons of test all comming out neg. Finally 18 days after ovulation. (January 22, 2009) (which is extremely late) I took a test before I called dr. I was waiting for my period to show up after the prometrum (meds to start it) Low and behold I got a positive. I took another one the next morning to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I only worry now, because I am so high risk because of my heart. So we will see. With Joshua from 20 weeks until I had him I had weekly U/s non stress tests twice a week and a weekly dr appt. not to mention the appts with the cardiologist and the high risk dr. I called the dr and my first appt is Monday January 26th at 9:20. Since I am high risk and I was on fertility drugs I will be getting an ultrasound so I will keep everyone updated.
